LocationDistrict MasterplanHowever,there are several challenges to be addressed:1.Pedestrian ConnectivityPedestrianflowalongthenorht-southstreetsareinteruptedbymajortrafficroads running east-west.Both are at grade.Although Tongji scheme provides high l25、evel connection over those streets,people are usually reluctant to climb up and down bridges to make connec-tions.They would prefer to cross intersection at the same level where they are.2.Scale of the BlocksThe western portion of the masterplan begin to beak down the scale of the super blocks,thus 26、beginning to introduce better permeability.However the rest of the site has cociderably weaker connectivity risking a sterile envi-ronment.Connection to MTR StationThe main pedestrian network does not take proper notice of the MTR the use of heat wheel,will be incorporated in areas with large fresh intake,such as the retail areas.A.2 Water Recovery(G245、rey Water)Grey water including condensate from the air conditioning system will be reclaimed and used in flushing and make-up of air conditioning condensing water.A.3 CFC Free Air Conditioning EquipmentThe refrigerants used in all chillers and refrigeration plant will be of
