Campus-Town is the grand set of its existing natural systems or forms.The Hot Spring River,the Wetland Waterway,the Hilltop,and the Coastline al16、l combine to establish an organic geometry that a practical device of Beihangs New Campus-Town.It is deeply embedded in the nature of the site-with its convergence of rivers,flooding wetlands,and seacoast.Equally it is a principle subject of the Universitys program of rese20、arch and development for transportation.In both of these respects,the new Campus-Town offers a vital opportunity for demonstration and testing of prototypes.The full spectrum of movement from pedestrian to regional rail is integrated in our proposed Master Plan.The natural flow of waterways and wetl21、ands is a grand character-giving presence that nourishes the regional scale the campus and town are thor22、oughly knitted into the larger plan of Qingdaos Blue Silicon Valley.Regional rail stations and major highways that meet the standards form a continuous spine of transportation.Secondary and tertiary movement systems spring from this main armature,reaching into each functional area.区域尺度北航大学城和科教新城均汇编入23、青岛蓝色硅谷的上位规划中。区域轨道站点和符合标准的各大公路形成了一条连续的交通主脊。二级和三级动线系统从这条主线上分支出来,延伸到各个功能区域。Campus Scale Within the Beihang Campus itself,a variety of movement systems connect academic residential,dining,fitness,and cultural gathering.The central Promenade linking the campus north and south provides every system from m24、ini-streetcars to bicycles,to Segways,spanning its 1.3 kilometers of length.Broad shaded walks link east and west,with a central Waterpark Way that stretches completely across Hot Spring River,through the Town Center and Residential village,to the Hilltop.A continuous network of smaller paths and bi25、keways meander through courtyards and quads to connect every building and landscape atria provide visual connectivity,which also encourages movement from floor to movement at a range of scales-linking people and programs across the grand spaces of Beihangs Campus-Town.Bicycle use49、 may be a dominant mode of circulation,with discrete bikeways and frequent bicycle parking areas near building entries.The broad swath of the North-South Axis is particularly intended as a multi-mode highway for campus New Qingdao Campus consist of the following main landscape character areas,the:Campus Heart,Campus Spine,Quads(Quadrangles)River Walk,Cultural Heart,Waterfront Promenade,Community Gardens,Landscape Spine(including wetland areas and pleasure grounds)and the Networking Hill wit59、h its natural hiking and wellness trails.Interwoven within these areas are an array of design features and fittings,including:pavilions,play areas,diverse public amenities and sporting facilities.These features combined with a well thought out hierarchy of pedestrian and cycling pathways,in addition60、 to a rich and abundant planting concept,will create a series of unique and interlinked public spaces with a distinct sense of place for the entire campus material choices play a very important role in this project;this will ensure a distinct identity is established throughout the site.The main open spaces,such as the:Campus Heart,Campus Spine,Cultural Heart,River Walk and W62、aterfront Promenade form the nucleus of the project site.These will be connected to each other by utilising a similar paving treatment along the ground sustainability,because having less paved areas which are then required to be drained by technical installations,enables the surface water to infiltrate locally around more of the
