in 1994,shi shan surrounding areas become a more important public asset within a residential context as well as the backdrop of the shi shan road commercial core area.the site then turned into a major amusement park in 1997 in 17、which most suzhou residents share the common memory for two decades.the current control plan which was made in 2008 clearly shows the development zone at the current nursery location and turns the amusement park into a major open space.基地演变 should be protected,enhanced and made more accessible.currently,shishan road terminates into the entertainment park which prevents access 25、to the rest of the site and obstructs views to the hill.it always an issue.The existing water body sit by the hill were man-made for recreational purpose.Besides that,in order to create a resil60、ient system,we propose a water system that can function internally dealing with increasing stormwater runof and externally to improve polluted water quality.Therefore,we suggest to increase the wetland area extensively on site in which the restored landscape scene exhibit as the backdrop of Shi Shan61、.More importantly,it functions as a series of f ltration garden to im-prove quality of aquifer ref ll.The onsite water system works independently and is connected to the larger canal context in three control gates.水文 长江三角洲湖泊星罗棋布，河流横穿其间，广阔的水道网络使得苏州成为著名的水城，但水质是长期困扰的问题。坐落于山脚的水体是人工打造的休闲湖。为了创建一个自身恢复能力强的系62、统，相应的水文系统对内应可处理日渐增多的雨洪径流，对外应可提升被污染的水质。因此，我们建议显著扩大基地湿地面积，将恢复的景观作为狮山的背景。更重要的是，它可作为一系列过滤花园，提升回填含水层水源的质量。基地内部水文系统独立运作，但通过三个控制闸与更大的运河系统相连。苏州高新区狮山周边地块城市设计
