to reform and re-educate prisoners for resocialisation,this coincides with the need to socialise creative industrie6、s,only opposing in the active and passive nature of the two.建筑空间上的特殊性：隔离为了控制THE SPATIAL QUALITY OF JAIL:ISOLATION FOR CONFINEMENT监狱建筑通过围墙将外部环境与内部环境完全隔开，而由于管理上的需要，建筑空间开口基本为内向。每个空间的组织，包括庭院、监仓及看守台，都是为了达到控制上的一面性，就是少数人能够控制多数人。而这种控制空间的设置，也造成空间质量的二元性，就是明显分布内外、公私、看到与被看到的对立空间。The wall of ALIENATION监狱的距离往往离社区较远。这种地理上有意识地造成的距离感是为了减少监狱建筑对社区造成的心理压力。监狱的使用者一般意义上是被社会边缘化的。监狱建筑本身也是反社会的建筑类型。这种在地理上的二元化(duality polarization)，分别了社9、会(social)与反社会(anti-social)，社会常规（social norm）与社会反常（social deviance），甚至安全与危险的领域。This geographical distance of jail minimises the psychological impact on the community by the jail building.The inhabitants also generally lie on the edge of society,whereas jail architecture itself is a antisocial typolog10、y.This geological polarisation zones the social and antisocial,norms and deviances,the safe and the dangerous.如何充分利用“三所”程序化、压抑、孤立的场所特征，重新转化且定义新型创意产业园？从被迫隔离到自主隔离隔离本身是一个中性的概念，而隔离的意图才是关键。在监狱空间的设置下，被迫的隔离引申出惩罚、监控及孤立，自由在这种语境下变成了监狱建筑隔离空间的反面；反之是自主隔离代表着意识上自由，更表达对于世界性社会的批判。从监狱到创意文化园，自主隔离意味着创意文化园以另外一种姿态对待创意本身；11、从被管制者到创新人才，自主隔离意味着创新人才抽离社会后对精神自由的追求；从边缘到中心，自主隔离意味着为从地理的边缘化到城市的文化中心提供保证。隔离与创意产业中的创作自由、思想解放及新领域的探索具有二元性。新型创意园：隔离为了创意 Isolation for Creativity这种监狱建筑类型与其社会位置，在表面上绝对不能满足一般意义上的创意产业。因为在现今认识的创意产业中，强调的开放、公共、空间定义上的含糊性，完全不能被体现。但是，我们经过创意产业的研究后，发展创意产业的根本存在的意义在于其在当代社会中的商业价值。这种商业价值，甚至可以理解为消费主义的无 在过去的五年中，深圳积极尝试打造中国创意城市这一品牌，以期从行政首府北京，金融中心上海，制造中心广州这几大城市中脱颖而出。2008年深圳被联合国教科文组织评为“设计之都”即得益于该品牌的塑造。该奖项评定城市为创意产业，资源和人才中心。从深圳文化机构和活动的数量，创意型产业的规模中可窥得其创意城市的地位。深圳“创意产业园区”地产开发的蓬勃势头亦体现了深圳政府重点发展创意产业的决心。这些园区专为创意企业量身定做工作空间，在不同程度上专注于特定行业17、。自深圳华侨城创意园于2005年运营开始，这一模式已经变得非常流行，深圳目前有超过40个这样的园区。三所位于城市北部边缘，坐落于快速发展的龙岗区。目前，现场坐落着一个监狱和康复中心，但是由于更大监狱的新建，三所很快就会被废弃。由于它标志性的建筑，该基地有望转变成创意园区，融入深圳日益壮大的文化机构和创意产业网络。然而，基地的位置有些偏远，远离城市中心和绝大多数其他创意园区和机构，其中大部分都位于中心区的罗湖、福田和南山。（图1）。尽管如此，可以重新思考积极利用基地位置的相对隔绝性，创建一种新的园区模型，有别于深圳现有的创意园区。Within the last five years,Shenzh18、en has actively attempted to brand itself as Chinas foremost creative city,a brand that would allow the city to stand out from the adminstrative capital of Bejing,the business capital of Shanghai,and the manufacturing capital of Guangzhou.This brand was helped substantially in 2008 when Shenzhen was19、 awarded the title of UNESCOs City of Design,which recognizes the city as a center of creative businesses,resources,and talent.Shenzhens status as a creative city can be measured by the number of cultural institutions and events that locate within its borders,and the number of businesses in the crea20、tive industries that choose to be there.The focus on creative industries can also be measured by the growing popularity of creative park developments in Shenzhen.These developments are specifically tailored to provide work space for creative businesses,and specialize in specific industries to variou21、s extents.Beginning with the opening of OCT Loft in 2005,this model has become extremely popular,and Shenzhen currently has over 40 such developments.The Sansuo site is located in the northern periphery of the city,within the rapidly developing district of Longgang.Currently the site is home to a ja22、il and rehabilitation center,but will soon be abandoned for a bigger facility.Due to its iconic architecture,the site makes a good candidate for conversion into a creative park to join Shenzhens growing network of cultural institutions and creative developments.However,the sites location also presen23、ts some difficulties.It is located far from the city center and the overwhelming majority of other creative parks and institutions,most of which are located in the central districts of Louhu,Futian,and Nanshan(fig.1).Despite this plan为了研究三所作为创意园区的潜力，我们对中国其他创意园区的情况进行了研究。我们研制了特殊的项目细分来对这些案例进行研究（图9）。项目被分为三类：私人工作空间，开放式的公共项目43、，住宿。工作空间和开放项目进一步细分为上游创造产业（主要包括艺术家活动），下游（主要是设计和媒体），还有创意产业之外的支持性项目。本研究揭示了不同公园项目内容的变化（图10）。例如，一些创意园如M50主要是上游的艺术活动，而其他的像8号桥主要侧重于设计。此外，像798等区域，则更专注于工作场所，而REDHOUSE和田子坊更着眼于公共和商业活动。研究为三所定位项目内容提供了思考起点。通过引进各种项目元素，场地可以为各种创意产业提供服务，创造由创意和创新驱动的综合园区。In order to investigate Sansuos potential as a creative park,case44、 studies were conducted of other creative parks throughout China.The developments were analyzed according to a unique program breakdown developed specifically for looking at creative parks(fig.9).The programs are first divided into three categories:private workspaces,open public programs,and accommo45、dation.The work and open programs are then further broken down into upstream creative uses(including primarily artist activity),downstream(primarily design and media),and supporting programs that arent classified as creative industries.This research reveals the variation in programming within differ46、ent parks(fig.10).For instance,some parks such as M50 are focused on upstream art activities,while others like The Bridge 8 focus primarily on design.Further,while areas like 798 focus more on work spaces,other such as The Redhouse and Tianzifang are more geared towards public and commercial activit47、ies.This analysis became the starting point for thinking about how to program the Sansuo site(fig.8).By including aspects of each type of program,the site can serve various types of creative businesses,creating a the jail from public experience.Thus,its renovation is focused on creating porosity within the original structure and linking it both physically and visually with the jail behind.The facade of the ground floor and the entry segment area removed and replaced with glass to reveal the exis113、ting structure and the jail wall behind.A new perforated metal facade is then wrapped around the building in order to give it a new definition while maintaining and accentuating its unique linear form.The facades strips continue into the landscape in front to arrange public program and guide visitor114、s from the entrance plaza through the bar building and into the renovated jail
