palaceDaming Palace was the main royal palace in Tang Dynasty.The whole layout was composed of two areas,Qian Chao where emperors held court,and Nei Ting used for living and recreation.Qian Chao comprised three palaces:Hanyu5、an Palace where grand ceremonies were held,Xuanzheng Palace where emperors administered state affairs,and Zichen Palace where ministers were presented to meet the emperor.Hanyuan Palace was the most famous and greatest.It was an important international exchange center.On every New Years Day,the empe6、rors would hold great ceremonies there,and welcome ambassadors from various countries and the surrounding minorities.This majestic building reflected the great Tang Dynastys prosperous and broad culture and represented the highest architectural level DESIGN2有唐诗云：“空阔湖水广，青荧天色同，舣舟一长啸，四面来18、清风”，古人寄情山水，咏物抒怀，充分表达了源于人和自然的本质之美。而这种质朴的大自然之美正是几千年来中国人所追求的生活境界的一个基本构成因素。中国人外儒内道，出则以儒家礼教道德规范来约束社会活动，入则用道家的自然淡泊来引导个人生活。哲学思想的不同，反映到工作和居住环境上就是在处理建筑形式和空间意境上手法的不同：既有建筑的庄严雄伟大气磅礴，也有园林的散淡飘逸烟雨逍遥。而文人园林的产生就是很好的验证。There is a Tang poem saying:“The vast lake so wide,the water as blue as the sky;the boat moored with19、 a cheerful long whistle,soft wind refreshes me all around”.The ancient people indulged themselves in the charm of mountains and waters and expressed their feelings in a poetic manner to fully exhibit the essential beauty rooted in human and nature.However,this unvarnished beauty of nature is exactl20、y a basic element of the state of life pursued by Chinese people for thou-sands of years.As Chinese people follow Confucianism outwardly and Daoism inwardly,they use Confucian ethical standards to regulate their social activities and Taoist natural ease to guide their personal lives.The difference o21、f philosophy reflected in work and residential environment is the varied techniques to deal with architectural form and spatial atmosphere:embodying not only the magnificence and grandness of buildings,but also the ease and elegance of gardens.The existence of literati gardens is a good proof.设计说明NO22、TES ON DESIGN 唐代相对宽松温和的政治环境，使士人们不必用隐逸来对抗社会。文人们可以在社会与自然、政治与田园以及自我的精神领域内找到一种平衡，产生和谐的心态，从而完成文人隐逸心态的转变。唐代是园林建筑史上富有艺术才情的时代，其清幽澹雅的文人园林展示出这一时代独特的隐逸情韵。唐代城郊园林的大发展，调和化解了仕与隐的矛盾，为唐代文人的“吏隐”提供了实现的途径。曲江池作为唐代城郊园林的代表应运而生。由于项目处在千年帝都的西安，又毗邻曲江池，在如此特殊与重要的位置，要创造一个忘情山水的场所，在传统文化断档的今天，是非常难的，因为它不仅能尽览湖城大境之美，又能延续大唐风度。我们只能怀着谦卑，23、提供一个思路，也为延续中国传统建筑的精神，多做一个参考。In the relatively relaxed and mild political environment of Tang Dy-nasty,knowledgeable people did not need to resist the society by reclusion.Literary people could find a balance between society and nature,politics and rusticity and their own mental worlds and obtain a h24、armonious mindset,thus finishing the transit of their desire for reclusion.Tang Dynasty was an era with abundant artistic talents in the history of landscape architecture.The peaceful and elegant literati gardens properly ushered the unique reclusion charms of the era.The great development of suburb25、 gardens in Tang Dynasty har-monized and eliminated the conflict of being an official or a hermit,which provided an approach to realizing“official reclusion”for lit-erary people.Qujiangchi Park emerged as the times required as a representative of suburb gardens.Since the project is situated in Xian 26、a thousands-year-old capital of empires and adjacent to Qujiangchi Relics Park,at such a unique and important location,it is hard to create a place for people to in-dulge themselves in the beauty of landscape considering todays shortage of traditional culture because it must be able to not only pres27、ent the beauty of lake city but also continue the style of Tang Dynasty.We can only provide an idea in a modest manner,also as a reference to continue the spirits of Chinese traditional architecture.历史文脉古之曲江池，是中国历史上久负盛名的皇家园林和京都公共区，其南倚终南山，北对乐游园，东南临少陵园。她也是中国古代园林及建筑艺术的集大成者，被誉为中国古典园林的先河之一。她兴起于秦汉，繁盛于隋唐，历28、时千年，秦、隋、唐三朝均在此营建皇家园林。境内有曲江池、大雁塔、慈恩寺、寒窑遗址、秦二世陵、唐城墙遗址公园等风景名胜古迹。Historical ContextQujiangchi,a prestigious royal garden and capital public area in the long history of China,leans against Zhongnan Mountains in the south,faces Leyou Garden in the north,and stands adjacent to Shaolin-gyuan in the southeas29、t.She is also a masterpiece of Chinese ancient landscape architectural art,known as one of first classical gardens in China.She emerged in Qin and Han Dynasties,bloomed in Sui and Tang Dynasties,therefore lasting a thousands-year history.Qin,Sui and Tang Dynasties all built royal gardens here.In the30、 area,there are many precious natural and cultural relics including Qujiangchi Relics Park,Dayan Tower,Cien Temple,Hanyao Relics,Qin Emperor II Tomb,Tang Dynasty Wall Site Park,etc.地区分析SITE ANALYSIS地理文脉地区文脉本项目地块均三面临路，位于曲江北路（主干道）和曲江东路的十字路口。且紧邻绕城高速，前往市区各主要商圈、主要交通枢纽及机场均十分便利。本项目位于陕西省西安市曲江新区曲江池遗址公园内。曲江池遗31、址公园是集历史文化保护、生态园林、山水景观、休闲旅游、民俗传承、艺术展示为一体的开放式城市生态文化公园。Geographic ContextRegional ContextThe land parcel for the project is located at the crossroad of Qujiang North Road(trunk road)and Qujiang East Road,with three sides ad-jacent to roads.It also closely adjoins to the city ring expressway,very conven32、ient to head for major business circles,main traffic hubs and the airport.The project is located inside Qujiangchi Relics Park,Qujiang New Area,Xian City,Shaanxi Province.Qujiangchi Relics Park is an open urban ecological and cultural park integrating historical culture protection,ecological garden,33、landscape,leisure tour,folk custom heritage and art exhibition.总体规划设计概念酒店的客房部分被分成南北两翼，沿湖展开。平面布局是灵活的顺应湖景的方向，尽力靠近湖景，力图酒店客房对湖景的最大化利用。客房沿基地西侧布置也避开了位于基地东侧和北侧城市主干道的噪音干扰。轴线布置的酒店公共区部分与自由布局的客房区部分，在形式语言上，呼应了“庄”“谐”知“道”。在“有形”的建筑之中，布置了各具特色的“无形”庭院。比如位于大堂前区的迎宾庭院，可以观看曲江池日落的后院，还有中餐厅独享的私密庭院。这些庭院的精致之美与建筑的磅礴之美互为依存，也别样的34、诠释了中国人外儒内道的价值传统。基地主入口，也就是酒店的主入口，布置在占据基地长边的曲江东路上，其靠近基地中心的位置，将交通流线缩至最短。会议中心和服务流线的入口在曲江北路，入口的分开布置非常有益交通的合理分流和疏导。在项目的总体布局上，我们引入了“庄”“谐”之道，在形式上，体现方正之美与逍遥之美的互生，在历史价值观上，也暗指儒道的互存。在基地的中间，我们创造出东西向的一条中轴线。酒店到达区，大堂和大堂吧，观景平台依轴线顺序布置，轴线的上下两侧分别布置了酒店的其他公共部分，包括会议中心与中餐厅的上下对应，特色餐厅与全日餐厅的上下对应。在具体的平面布局特点上，也刻意强调了“雄伟”与“散淡”的对比35、。Master Layout Plan ConceptThe guest room portion of the hotel is divided into south and north parts to be deployed along the lake.The plan layout is flexibly adapted to the direction of lake view and made as close to the lake landscape as possible,with a view to maximizing the role of guest rooms i36、n the lake landscape.The arrangement of guest rooms on both sides of the project site also avoids the noise disturbance from the east side of site and the trunk road in the north.The axis arranged public area portion and the freely arranged guest room por-tion reflect the“majestic”and“harmonious”des37、ign in modality.“Intangible”courtyards with unique features are arranged in the“tangi-ble”architecture,for example,the reception courtyard in front of the lobby,the backyard where Qujiangchi sunset can be viewed,and the private court-yard solely enjoyed by the Chinese restaurant.The exquisiteness of38、 such courtyards and the grandness of buildings supplement each other,annotating Chinese peoples traditional values of outwardly Confucianism and inwardly Daoism in a distinctive way.The main entrance to the project site is also the entrance to the hotel,which is arranged at Qujiang East Road on the39、 longer side of the site.It is close to the center of site,thus minimizing the traffic flow line.The entrance to the conference center and service flow line is arranged at Qujiang North Road.The separate layout of entrances is very beneficial to the proper division and guidance of traffic flow.We in40、troduce a“majestic”and“harmonious”design into general layout of the project,embody the interaction of foursquare beauty and easygoing charm in modality,and imply the coexistence of Confucianism and Daoism in terms of historic values.In the middle of the project site,we create an east-to-west central41、 axis.The arrival area,lobby and lobby lounge,and viewing platform of the hotel are sequentially arranged along the axis.Other public areas are arranged respec-tively on both sides of the axis,including the corresponding conference center and Chinese restaurant,and the corresponding specialty restau42、rant and all day dining restaurant.In terms of specific plan layout characteristics,the contrast of“majesty”and“ease”is also highlighted sedulously.建筑设计概念和总体设计概念形式上，立面各主要元素恪守严格的唐代建筑比例关系，细节手法上则对传统唐代建筑元素比如乌头门直棱窗等进行抽离与概括；材料上，引入现代的建筑材料来重新注解传统材料，比如，青黑色的陶土屋瓦，我们就用更现代的合金屋面来取代，既保持筒状的纹理，又更加有气势，达到“青荧天色同”的效果；色彩43、上，以灰色、土黄色、赭石色作为主色调。在此基础上，作同色系的变化，如灰、白、黑等色彩。适当增加一些鲜艳的色彩，展现时代感。环境标识设计上，作为建筑外墙设计的补充工具，富有文学意义，能够让进入基地的人引起共鸣，从而有文化上的认同感和归属感。我们希望我们的建筑能恰当的处在自然，文化与历史三者的融合点上，在传承中又有创新，在体现区域性上又掷地有声。我们希望创造一个“大隐”于湖城大境中的建筑，与曲江池遗址公园其他建筑处在一种模式语言下，但又希望展示出我们自己的思路，它是对张锦秋大师创造的新唐风建筑的敬意下，抱着同样的师承古法与自然的精神，展现我们对历史与基地的尊重，也是对新唐风建筑理论探讨的现实依据。44、唐风建筑古朴浑厚，严整开朗，意蕴契合。为达到类似的韵味，而不是简单的复制或拙劣的山寨模仿，我们在建筑设计上应用了以下原则：Architectural Design Concept and Overall ConceptionRegarding modality,the main elements on the front elevation strictly follow the proportion relationship of Tang style architecture,while in terms of details,the traditional Tang style arch45、itectural elements such as aconitic door and straight edge window are detached and summarized;In terms of materials,modern building materials are used to re-annotate tra-ditional materials.For example,we use modern alloy roofing in lieu of black clay roof tiles.This not only retains the cylindrical 46、texture,but also brings more vigor,to achieve the effect of“the water as blue as the sky”;In terms of colors,grey,khaki and red are used as dominant colors.On this basis,changes in the same color scheme are made,for example,grey,white and black,with proper addition of some fresh colors to present th47、e sense of times.Environment logo design,as a supplementary tool of exterior wall design,has the literal significance that arouses resonance of everyone accessing the proj-ect site and thus leads to cultural sense of identification and belonging.We wish that our architecture can be a proper combinat48、ion of nature,culture and history by making innovation while inheriting and making a difference while exhibiting the regional characteristics.We wish to create a building“reclusive”in the context of lake landscape,which share the same pattern with other buildings in Qujiangchi Relics Park.But we als49、o wish to express our idea,i.e.show our respects to the history and the project site under the reverence for the new Tang style architecture created by Master Zhang Jinqiu and with the same spirit of inheriting ancient techniques and nature.It is also a realistic basis for discussion of new Tang sty50、le architectural theory.The architecture of Tang style is vigorous and stylish,neat and refreshing,and profound and harmonious.To generate similar charm instead of simple repro-duction or unskilled imitation,we apply following
