8、T E NT S Townscape of Innovation 富有创新的城市景观 With its proposed International Science and Education New Town in Qingdao, Beihang University is poised to launch an entirely new kind of urban center of research and innovation- a Campus-Town. The scale, scope, and vision of this new R this will ensure a d
9、istinct identity is established throughout the site. The main open spaces, such as the: Campus Heart, Campus Spine, Cultural Heart, River Walk and Waterfront Promenade form the nucleus of the project site. These will be connected to each other by utilising a similar paving treatment along the ground
10、 plane. 材料选择可为整个基地确立独特标示性,因而在本项目中发挥了重 要作用。主要开放空间(如校园中心、中轴、文化中心、河畔步道 及滨水漫步道)地面将采用类似的铺装处理手法,进行互相连接。 The aim is to reduce the hardscaped areas. This is of course very beneficial in terms of sustainability, because having less paved areas which are then required to be drained by technical installations,
11、 enables the surface water to infiltrate locally around more of the site. 该项做法的目的在于减少硬质景观面积。减少铺装面积后,需采用 技术策略进行排水,确保地表水可局部渗透到更大的基地面积中 去,从而实现可持续。 It is suggested to use permeable paving options to increase the opportunities for the infiltration of surface water. In addition to this, in less intensely
12、used areas, using crushed stone options for walkways will accentuate the waters infiltration possibilities. 建议采用透水铺装材料,以增加地表水渗透。此外,在使用密度较 小区域,采用碎石进行人行步道铺装,以增加水分渗透。 Softscape 软质景观 The campus network of green boulevards, community gardens and courtyard gardens, each with their own individual character
13、, will act as a continuation of the main existing landscape elements, such as the: river embankments of the Hot Spring River, Networking Hill and Waterfront. The Landscape Spine is foreseen to act as a vital channel for cold air exchange in the years ahead. The concept of creating this spinal link b
14、etween the coastline to the Campus Heart and beyond; is looking to future proof the ecological connections between Qingdao Campus and its surrounding natural elements. Also by increasing the proportion of plantings and softscape throughout the site, this improves microclimate conditions as well as r
15、educing dust and noise emissions. Furthermore, in alignment with a considered planting and street furniture conceptual approach, the qualities of using the public realm as a gathering and recreational space is enhanced by the spacious landscape areas. Landscape material selections are based on retai

17、区域能被 作为聚集及娱乐空间。如可行,景观材料的选择应重点保持现有绿 植,并选择本土物种。 Campus Heart and Campus Spine 校园中心和中轴 The Campus Heart is the major meeting place of the Qingdao Campus, providing ample space for both formal and informal gatherings for students as well as for the general public. It also provides space for events and l

All of these elements will come together to highlight the importance of this ver

22、ent areas for contemplation, communication and relaxation. With a strong visual connection to the seaside, it also acts as a link between the Waterfront Promenade and the Academic Hub. The Landscape Spine will demonstrate the synergy and positive relationship between urban life and ecologically mind

Each area is intended to provide both functional and informa
24、l outdoor spaces for educators and students alike. The courtyards will be connected to each other through an expressive design palette of plantings, surface materials, furniture and lighting. The Quads will also provide the opportunity to implement green roofs and walls where suitable, to assist in

This will include a managed drainage system comprised of retention basins for rainwater / surface water as well as channels which can be controlled in a manner to manage water flow in the monsoonal season to assist in reducing flash flooding based erosion events. These cha

The design of the Waterfront Promenade with marina and yacht club is envisaged to create a sense of corporate identity synonymous with the Qingdao Campus. This Waterfront Pr

The shared surface will predominantly feature pedestrians and cyclists, but also has the provision for the use of
31、 trams and smart vehicles. Linear rows of trees will form a dense canopy providing shade. Along with well situated street furniture, the River Walk will provide a fantastic space to rest and observe the natural scenery of the riverside. 河畔步道设想为林荫大道,将作为城市空间和湿地之间的分界线, 具有较高的生态价值。该共享空间主要供行人和骑车者使用,同时 还可通

While continuing to be focused on flexible and robust experimental laboratories both wet and dry, as well as, space dedicated to computational research, buildings for the science and technology community also require space not previous
41、ly considered valuable.
