As a new city located in the western-south hilly area, it has the possiblity to become a different national new district, as well as a new starting po2、int for urban planning and new town construction in China. After the mass construction of infrastructure, we value the chance of practice more. Starting from understrand-ing and cherishing this extraordinary place, we regard ecological city and nature resource as our core concept to be realized. We 3、are trying to build a city center, based on local context to continue tradition and to be attractive and prosperous. It is our love for human and our respect to the nature.DuoCity offers a nature city and a vital city for Guian, making the invisible natural system the base of urban safety. Together 4、with vital city, it gives people a comprehensive city containing multiple function and rich experience. With the help of nature, Guian will become city containing and dissolving a series of contradiction: nature and urbanity, tradition and modernity, locality and globalization, which is a reproducti5、on of Guizhou characteristic. Relying on the high speed rail station, it will serve as the center of Guian new district, as well a9、s a window for demostrating a new image and the source of vitality.Guian Core AreaWith the construction of Guian new district, Guian new district, Guiyang old town, and Jinyang new district will constitutes a triangle shaped spatial structure, which is named Big Guiyang metropolitan area. There existing great landsacpe surrounding the site, such as Hongfeng Lake, Moon lake, giving the site a unique external natural context. A series of moutains could be seen from our site, wich is a perfect backgroup for construct a city land-sca13、pe.The topography inside shows a trend in which west side is higher than the east part. Gernal slope of the site is gentle except some part of steep hills, which appears in the south west and the west part of the site. Most of the land in the site is covered by grass or partly wasted land except som14、e nice clusters of tall trees among Yingong village and Yangmei village in the east part. Che Tian River crosses the site at the south-east corner of the field, after creating a area of valuable wetland, finally connecting to the Moon Lake to the south.
